This is my moms recipe.
After she passed in 1988,we lost it and just found it last year written on an old recipe
card.
2lbs ground beef
1 bay last half hour.
1lb celery
1clove of garlic
1 large sweet onion
1 can tomato puree
1 can tomato juice
1 chunk of suit/1/2 lb
chili powder.
This is the basic recipe.
I add fresh mushrooms
I let mine slow cook in a crockpot all day.
I usually triple the ingredients and freeze the leftovers
