Layered Pasta Vegetable Salad
2 (1-lb) bags of Green Giant Pasta Accents Primavera Frozen Vegetable with Pasta
(I have a hard time finding this paticular brand, so, I go with something as similiar as possible but with a garlic flavoring.)
1/4 cup chopped red onion
1cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
1 tablespoon of sugar
1 tablespoon of lemon juice
4 cups finely shredded lucttuce (Or however much you desire)
Cheddar Cheese - Shredded
Crumbled Bacon ( they only call for 3 slices, but, I usually use a whole pound because I like a lot of bacon)
1. Cook frozen vegetable with pasta as directed on package until vegetables are crisp-tender. Spoon evenly into ungreased 13x9-inch baking dish. Sprinkle with onion.
Cover; refrigerate 1 hour.
2. In small bowl, combine mayonnaise, sugar and lemon juice; blend well. Spoon mixture over chilled vegetables with pasta; gently spread to cover completely. Arrange lettuce evenly over mayonnaise mixture. Sprinkle cheese and bacon evenly over lettuce. Cover; refrigerate at least 1 hour or overnight.
