|  Good Saturday Morning Dear Friends ! We're expecting a beautiful above-normal Fall day today and the leaves are starting to turn. Last night when we were coming home from Bob's Birthday Dinner, we all noticed even though it was dusk, you could still see beautiful colors around. It seems they all changed over a period of 2-3 days. Gasoline is getting LOW here - we have seen it now under 3.00 per gallon. I never thought we'd see that again and it will make it really nice for fall sightseeing. I slept in this morning and feel very refreshed. Good morning, Susan, and everyone! It is breezy and pleasant here this morning. It must be a bit overcast because I don't see any signs of the sun yet. Mack and I just came in from walking down the street and he was frisky on that leash! Today I am going to have my hair trimmed and colored at 10:30 and then later in the afternoon, Scott and I will drive over to Clemson to see Elizabeth swim. I think we are at the very beginning of leaf changes here and although leaves are falling, I haven't seen much color yet. Maybe we can take a long way home through the mountains this afternoon and check them out. Helen is going to the State fair today with her dad and family. She was excited about that. She'll be home tomorrow afternoon in time for a National Honor Society induction ceremony. Adn there is a huge festival in downtown Greenville this weekend, but we decided not to go because we knew it would be so crowded. Last year there were 200,000 people. Good Morning Susan!! Have fun at Walmart today! We've seen the lower gas prices too,lately. A nice change. Hope Bob enjoyed his Birthday dinner. It's supposed to be nice here today, in the 70's. Hopefully we're going to get a chance to take the Lechtor sisters to the park for an experimental walk together. I'm sure they'll be a big hit with their muzzles on!! Hope you all have a truly blessed day and weekend!!

Good Morning Ya'll We are expecting rain & wind all weekend. There is a cold front from the NW, Gulf moisture and the Pacific hurricane are all suppose to collide in our area today. So I think it will be a great day to catch up on some reading. We were going to go to Old Sorehead Trade Days but with the bad weather looming decided not too. Laura I hope all goes well at the park today. Logan what kind of festival does Greenville have? That is alot of people, it must be very popular. Susan our gas is going down too. It's so strange to see it closer to $3 instead of $4 Have a Golden Day Everyone |

Hey Laura! Hi Susie! Susie, it is called "Fall for Greenville" and they shut off Main Street all the way through downtown and some of the side streets too. Restaurants, art galleries and stores are open, but they also have about 50 restaurants set up in tents all along the street and people can sample their menus. You buy tickets to purchase things. There are vendors of every type....lots of artists, crafts, bands, rides for the kids, etc. It is really a big festival. We just don't have the energy to fight the crowds and they will be huge because the weather is just perfect and Clemson doesn't have a football game this weekend so people aren't there. My Goodness that looks like so much fun! I can tell how popular it must be by all the sponsors and all those different restaurants to sample from Sunny and I would be in Foodie Heaven, LOL!
Larkin on the River & the Liberty Tap House are the 2 that really sounded yummy. And the Ohio Players on Stage tonight, that would be a blast and now I am going to have that song stuck in my head all day LOL!

Good Saturday Morning I'm freezing my toushie off this morning
 LOL Our temperatures dropped down to 39° last night. It will be a sunny day and inch our way into the 60s by this afternoon. I also have noticed the trees starting to change colors. Susan, our gas prices are coming down too but in good ol CA were still paying $3.57. It sure would be nice to see it below $3...but who knows with the economy crisis what will happen next.
Don't get me started on politics or the economy Logan, it would be hard to resist that Greenville Festival today. It sounds like there will be a little bit of Everything. Fighting the crowds does put a damper on the fun though. Taking the long way home might be much more relaxing Laura...The Lechtor Sisters, LOL
I'm scared for you I hope it goes well. Please come back in and let us know how they do. I've got fingers, toes and paws crossed that they be good girls for you. Susie, sounds like a good day to stay indoors and be cozy with the ones you love   I have a few quick errands to run.
