 Good Monday Morning Dear Friends! We had a lovely weekend here in Indianapolis and today is also suppose to get near 75. Rachel was SO delighted to hear the weather report this morning because she knows that means she can be outside. Yesterday we took a lovely Fall Drive and took a few more pics. The leaves are turning more colorful each and every day and it's just breathtaking. I need to get to the store today and have about 3piles of laundry to do. Have a wonderful Monday dear Friends ! Good Morning Friends, we also had a wonderful weekend, I was so busy I didn't get here yesterday to say hello. We are gearing up for Thanksgiving. This is our big family event so we work on it all Month. Adrianne will be hosting at their new house this year. She is cooking and I will be the Sous Chef. She is preparing a Turkey Breast Roll, stuffed with sausage and mushrooms, Mashed potatoes, a brusselsprouts with panchetta, cornbread dressing and I will make Gravy and a Pumpkin Roll. She will begin cooking the cornbread and freezing it , we will be talking today about cooking the stuffing ingredients and freezing that also. I will go ahead and make the chicken stock, pick the meat and freezing that so that we can enjoy the company, instead of cooking all day. Her MIL is in charge of Pecan Pies. Dale and I did four experiments yesterday and Sat. I cooked a Coconut Custard Pie for a friends bday. Then I made a Apple Pecan Pie, from Bon Apetite. Both came out wonderful. Then yesterday, Dale prepared a Sweet Potatoe dish from the same magazine, and I made Creamed Collards from the Southern Living. All of it was wonderful and we Roasted a Pork Butt too, so we ate really well yesterday. Ross is eating out with the Boys tonight, so Adrianne is coming again for left overs and to help me in the yard today. I got the news that my parents are coming for a visit in a couple weeks so I need to get the guest room in control. Sheets changed and all that. Plus Dale needs to look at the Guest Shower, it seems to not have any water pressure? The boys spent a wonderful lazyy weekend inside whole we cooked! LOL!!! They love Thanksgiving too, many more treats than usual. Well I hope everyone has a great day...Hugs to all, Wanda and the Boys |

Good Morning Ya'll Where did the weekend go? It seemed to have flew by I'm glad we did our voting early so we don't have to fight the crowds tomorrow It was a record turn out in our town for early voting and thank goodness after tomorrow all the political ads will stop. Wanda you will have to share that creamed collard recipe. It sounds very interesting. Susan I'm glad you guys got out and took a drive yesterday The changing leaves don't last for long..... so enjoy!
Sharon I saw on TV last night that next week's Extreme Home Makeover is the one that was around the corner from your home. We will have to all watch that one!

Morning I feel like I'm running late since there's plenty of light out. Isaac is a chatter box this morning. I hope he gets it out of his system before school though. I have lots of laundry to tackle today. We had planned on staying home but those days are few and far between with my family. The pups need baths today as well. Billy has a job to do so he'll leave in a bit. Susan, I'm glad you both are getting to take in all those beautiful colors. Wanda, sounds like a wonderfully busy, yummy weekend. Susie, these weekends do fly by, don't they? I hope all of you have a great day. |

| good morning...its beautiful and breezy and mild here in kc today. i'd like to take some pictures for class. i got up early and registered for next semester, enrollment started today, so that's done. thinking about getting a haircut today too. my dinner is already cooked for tonight since eric and i both have class tonight. so, we're having leftover roast chicken, mashed potatoes and gravy and rolls. yumm. omygoodness paula deen is on GMA this morning. i gotta watch that. lol gotta run, have a great monday ya'll! xoxo deb hey wanda...can you share your recipe for bread and butter pickles? i love those!! |

| Good Morning Everyone. We had a busy weekend, I'm in the middle of Christmas stuff, lol. Buying and wrapping. My closet looks like a tornado went through it. We went to the store and got gas and took the dogs with us. They love that. I don't think you know but I have flunked two driving license tests and must study and take another one this week sometime, lol. I have a temp one but I don't really care to drive, we have five drivers here so I'm not to worried about it, lol. Wanda your Thanksgiving menu sounds wonderful, we are going to cook here too. Good morning, everyone. Sounds like there will be lots of clean clothes across the USA today with all the laundry being done! LOL!! Susie, to answer your question, Saturday was a really rewarding day for me. 13 of us worked at a public school (elementary age) in the lower part of the state. We painted two classrooms that were dreary and dirty. I hope those kids and their teachers were happy to walk into their bright, clean classrooms this morning. I was chief of video and walked the whole "campus" with the school principal, interviewing her, recording the work that was done, and learning more about how we can help them. One of the the things I learned was that this school's vacuum cleaners had broken and their carpets (all classrooms have carpet) had not been vacuumed in over 2 months. Yesterday, I was teaching the 4th and 5th grades in Sunday School and before I started the film they were going to watch, I told them about my day and one little girl pulled a $5 bill out of her purse and asked me if I would use it to help that school get new vacuum cleaners. Absolutely! I'm glad I told about my day. Hope you all have a good Monday. Logan |
