This baby (Sugar Britches) that was posted here as available in Kansas City for rescue...

I called my friend who lives in the KC metro area as she has talked about a new Shih Tzu since she lost her Blossom of 17 years. She has called on the dog and the foster mom is being contacted so maybe this darling will get a wonderful home in KC with a Chi sister thanks to this post on this board at FTLOD. Wouldn't that be awesome.

I will keep you posted on the progress of this potential adoption.

Gosh I hope your friend will consider it.

Several of Susan's post of Pet of the Day have

had happy endings. I remember one boy named Duke

a big chocolate lab, and Susan started the movement

to spread the word and he was pulled

at the 11th hour and now has a loving home
