I have two wooden spoons that I use.  One is a spoon that I found at a playground when I was about 7 yrs old.  I took it home to mom and she cleaned it up and used it all the time!  Then she passed it back to me and I have had it ever since.  There is one thing we always use it for.  She made a candy at Christmas called pralines.  WAYYYYYY sweet, but just not the same without that old wooden spoon.  I treasure that spoon and it even looks well worn!
