Good Monday Morning Dear Friends

WOW it's cold this Monday Morning. At 31 degrees,and not climbing much above 50 today, we are in for a winter coat day.

Hope you all had a good weekend. It seems like I really had a day of rest yesterday because I kept falling to sleep everytime I sat down. We did get some leaves piled up and baged, but the wind was fighting against us and only did the driveway. The puppies have so much fun in the leaves playing and it's fun for everyone to see how happy they are.

We called Joe in Chicago last night and he says he's had a good weekend getting all the new software installed in their office their and today he will stay to train everyone and make sure they understand. It's a fairly small office and he hopes to be home by around 4-5 this afternoon. Their office is right by Macy's and the hotel is Palmer House Hilton around the corner from the office and he says it's a bit too elegant for him. He's in the Executive Suites with Continental Breakfast and room service.

Celine Dion was suppose to be in town tonight but cancelled. They haven't said why.

Today I have some shoes to take in for repair and do some shopping.

Susan, I'm glad you got to rest yesterday. The same thing happened to me last night when I was relaxing and watching tv. Helen walked in on me twice and found me snoozing. LOL! When Scott and I went to Chicago last December, we stayed at the Palmer House Hilton, too. I remember that our room was very small, but very nice. I really liked Chicago.

Its chilly in SC this morning. Honey is the only one with any interest in staying outside. The other two did not stay out long. I don't know what they would do it snow. lol!

Hope you all have a good Monday. Working for me today, with a late afernoon physical therapy appt., then I'm off tomorrow for Veteran's Day.

Good morning everyone!

It was a cold 39 degrees here this morning but will warm up nicely this afternoon.

It's going to be a beautiful day with clear blue skies.

I like to go out and watch the jets go over and the white trails they leave.

You would think living out as rural as we are there wouldn't be much air traffic but there is.

The jets are always very high up and we don't get any noise.

Must be in someone's flight path I guess.

I've got to play clean house and laundry catch up from the weekend today.

I'm going to sneak some birdwatching in there too

Billy had a great visit with his family. They all hung out

and we all got tattoos. Our artist was bombarded on

Friday with 5 of us getting nautical stars. I bet he went

home seeing stars. Okay, that was corny. I'm also hoping

to see the chiropractor today. I stumbled yesterday and I heard

a pop in my neck and am now feeling numbness radiate

down my right arm. I'm hoping I just need an adjustment.

I have some light house stuff to do today including laundry.

Susan, glad you rested some this weekend.

Hey Everyone Rise and Shine!!! It's a balmy 34 degrees here in Hanover VA. BURRR Time to get the long johns out!!!

Yesterday was another wonderful day with Mom and Dad. I just can't believe how well this visit has gone. Today will be the test, as I have to go to work and to a dr's appointment. They will be left alone with the boys. Pray they don't open a gate or door and loose one of my boys....I would be devestated. I am driving the Mercedes and leaving the truck for them. They have plans to go to an antique mall, just down the road, Last night I made reservations on Amtrak for them to leave on Wed afternoon to go to Raleigh. They will visit with my Dad's family and then fly home from Raleigh. They fly on my sisters, companion tickets thur Northwest, so they can leave any time there is room on a flight.

However, yesterday we went to breakfast at our local hang out and our waitress and friend Edwina entertained them for some time. It was fun. Then we came home and Mom and I chilled while Dale and Dad went to get everything for Corn and Clam Chowder. Then Adrianne came and us girls went to a Craft show. It was alot of fun looking at the pretty things and let Adrianne and my mom build a relationship that they've never had before. Then I was shocked when we found something really pretty a silk embrodery of a peacock that Adrianne loved and Mom bought it for her. Adrianne was shocked too and started crying and them Mom started crying and then I started. Just a buch of foolish women crying over a beautiful piece of art and gift.

Adrianne still dosen;t want to tell everyone about being Pregnant. But I'm thinking that maybe she will before they leave. I hope so. Mom kept making comments, like well you need kids to fill this big house. Then we found several baby things at the show that Adrianne bought for the future! I'm not sure if Mom picked up, but not that she said.

We came home, all the dogs had survived Dad and Dale watching them, we had a great hot soup awaiting us and then we sat around talking. So it was a great day.

Susie, a big desk is always good. Susan good for you resting, that moving can really tire you out. Hey Logan and Mon-mon, hope you both get relief at the appts today.

I hope you all had the same good Sunday and that your Monday will be happy as well. I gotta run give Nate his meds and get Dale up...Hugs to All, Wanda and the Boys
