My hubby was in the U.S. Army for 3 years back in the late 60's

My husband strongly considered an Air Force career as a pilot, but his asthma prevented him from pursuing it.  I did not serve in the military.  My dad served 2 years in the Army during a peaceful time after he graduated from college.

My hubby was in the Navy for 5 years and both of his parents were in the Army... They actually met in Vietnam.
