I would like to thank my husband Robert Alloway for serving in the U.S. Army for 3 years in Germany.  It was during the Vietnam War era and he was sent to Germany to keep it secure from harm.  He was Honorably Discharged !

I would like to take a moment to remember a good friend of mine Michael Kreich who I went through Elementary and High School.  He was a cute little boy, blonde and always had a smile on his little face.  I can remember he always was trying to do something nice for other people.

After High School he went into the Army and was sent to Vietnam.  He came back from Vietnam got married and had 3 children.

He became an Ambulance Driver and Paramedic.  One afternoon they were answering the call for an emergency close to where I live and they were in such a hurry they didn't see a train.  The train struck them and drug the Ambulance quite a ways and all the paramedics were killed.

It was SO much like Michael to be doing something to help others; and I shall always remember him as a true hero.

Rest in Peace Dear Michael!

I would also like to thank another high school friend of mine and a friend of my family named James Whisler who was a Military Policeman in Vietnam.  He always had a love for his country and was more than willing to serve when the Draft called him up for Duty.

He returned safely from Vietnam yet deeply effected emotionally from all he had seen and been through.

He later married and had a daughter and then when he was about 40, he suddenly contracted cancerous tumors all over his body which everyone including the doctors always thought it was directly a result of Agent Orange.

He died as a result of Cancer and I feel it was a direct result of honoring and serving his country.

Thank you Jimmy,

Susan
