Well Folks, I've enjoyed my time with Mom and Dad, but I'm almost ready for them to go home so I can get back to my routine....

 

Tonight we are going to Adriannes for supper with her inlaws too.  I'm going to be crazy by the end of the night.  M&D are closer in age to her inlaws, so they should be ok, except my dad is way country, if you knnow what I mean.  I had to get on him the other day about "Black Folk" jokes....GEEZ!!!!  We'll have a black president soon, and I told him that to make jokes like that was not very nice.  I've always just ignored him telling those before, but now it make me mad.  So like him I said my mind! 

 

Mom and Dad are excited about taking the train to Raleigh.  They will then rent a car and drive to Tramway, outside of Sanford where Dad's family is.  I would like to go with them, but I've just had my vacation....And every time I go there all they do is sit around and talk mostly complain about the weather, the crop, the government.....so I'll just stay home and putter in my yard.  Which really needs some attention now that we've had two frost days.  27 Degrees here this morning.  BURRRRRR!!!!

 

I hope everyone has a relaxing day planned, make sure you say a prayer for all the Veterans and of course the Guys still in the field.  God Bless them All.
