 I've a warm and friendly feeling
As I think of you today;
And I wish that we could visit,
But you're many miles away. Separated by such distance,
Yet your letters bring you near;
Through the miles we share a friendship
That's become to me most dear. Friends through correspondence only;

 THE CIRCLE OF FRIENDS
We meet on-line to have a great time....
We laugh and we giggle and smile at our screens,
We sit back and wonder what this all means.
We surf the Web, we travel afar,
We span thousands of mile without a car.
We watch conversations flowing on the screen,
We tell jokes and stories and know what they mean.
What are we looking for? Where's the attraction?
How can we do this and get satisfaction?
Who are we? Why are we here?
We are "the Circle of Friends", made from a chain.
And we're here because friendship is what we gain!
Born on-line formed by few,
We had no idea just what to do.
So we are linking our pages, first one then two,
And wonder where we'll end up when we are through?
The Circle will spread, like a wild vine,
It will breathe and whisper like the winds of time.
We are the Circle of Friends, made from a chain,
All of our motives are exactly the same.
Searching for friendships all over the lands,
Linking our pages is like holding hands.

 Sometimes in life,
you find a special friend;
Someone who changes your life
just by being part of it.
 Someone who makes you laugh
until you can't stop;
Someone who makes you believe
that there really is good in the world.
 Someone who convinces you
that there really is an unlocked door
just waiting for you to open it.
This is Forever Friendship.
When you're down,

although i originally was writing this for my human friends, i think it can also apply to our animal friends as well. hope you enjoy it. New Friend, Old Friend, Dear Friend companionship is a true human virtue that produces love love fills the air and travels over miles and miles conquering all obstacles in this space we call life life can be hard, rarely easy, so thank goodness for friends and family family is either by blood, marriage, or adoption, and so are friends friendship is a treasure and should be honored and valued greater than any gold, silver or green I value my friends, new, old, and those I’ve lost touch with I thank each of you for the love you share I hope each of you will find happiness and that special space in life that only a true friend deserves we may let each other down every now and then, being selfish or ignorant, but don’t feel bad because that is human nature once a friend, always a friend dear friend Deborah Steele 1/9/2002, revised 20 august 2004 | |

Unseen Friend Although you are a friend of mine
and posts we do exchange,
I wouldn't know you on the street,
and doesn't that seem strange?
You hold a place within my life,
unusual and unique;
We share ideals and special dreams,
and still, we do not speak.
I picture what I think you are,
perhaps you picture me.
An intriguing game for both of us
for someone we can't see.
So for this friendship we possess,
we owe this room a debt,
Perhaps the charm lies in the fact
