Notes: It is anyone's guess how this friendly, outgoing, Chow mix found himself "on the road again", but when he wandered into a local N.J. auto mechanic's shop and sat down to rest, Navajo was thin, road-worn, and dehydrated; he obviously needed a tune-up! This engaging boy graciously accepted our hospitality and fit right in with no arguments. He is equally social with all dogs and cats, and loves EVERY person he meets, and is gentle with kids. It was only after he rested and put on some weight that this guy surprised us with his agility. This athletic canine can clear a 4' fence from a standing start with room to spare. Navajo probably wandered away from his family and accepted a ride from strangers before he had travelled too far to find his way home. Navajo is about 6 years old, but acts MUCH younger. He needs a family whose yard has at least a 5 foot fence, or who will walk him to keep his wanderlust from getting him in trouble. Our boy enjoys long walks and car rides. He is neutered, microchipped, and UTD on shots and waiting in central Jersey for his "forever" family to protect him from his boundless curiousity. Fill out an application below!
