Sweet Valentine aka Tina will win your heart! Valentine (Tina) is a 4 year-old 44 pound American foxhound that will win your heart with her sweet, happy and affectionate personality! Her whole body wiggles with happiness when she greets her people.
Tina's foster family members are all in agreement; Tina is one of the nicest dog's they've ever met. They are at a loss as to why this love bug has not been adopted. She's sweet, happy, affectionate and quiet. Her whole body wiggles with happiness when she greets her people. She's filled out a bit and is at good weight at a very compact 44 pounds. She has been perfect with housetraining. She sits for treats and is very gentle. She is great with other dogs. Tina does love to follow her nose and does love to run, so a large, securely fenced yard and a home with another dog are required. She is very energetic outside and can run for hours, but mellow in the house. Tina is one of the most tolerant dogs we've ever met, and she has been great even with not-so gentle toddlers, but children should be old enough not to let her bolt out doors. Tina does not do well crated, but has been very well behaved in the house and has had the run of the house since her arrival in February. She will do best with a family that is home a lot.
Although Tina was fine showed no aggression during her 'cat test', she is obsessed with small furries. Her foster family was able to work with her and get her to ignore their bunny, but a home with no cats or other small pets is strongly recommended. Tina has faithfully guarded her foster family from the resident woodchuck since her arrival.
Tina is spayed, fully vaccinated, and negative for heartworms, Lyme and Ehrlichia, and microchipped.
