I lost my beloved fur kid Emma in Febuary. She was 11 yrs old and half border collie half austrailin shepard.
I didn't think I would be able to handle having another dog because for awhile even being around dogs would make me weepy.
The was also the problem of my roommate. She has allergies.
One day I was surfing around the web and glanced a Lhasa apso picture. I didn't know what it was so I ended up searching the akc site .
I found a breeder and went to visit her and her dogs . The first I took home a little girl bit hard a lot and so I took her back and choose from another litter. That is how I ended up with Apollo.
The difference between he and the girl puppy is remarkable .
Apollo looks horrified if he thinks you are upset with him . He' loves to cuddle, watch tv and play. The girl never wanted to be picked up.
It was my general impression girls were supposed to be sweeter than boys but Apollo is as sweet and I think he will enjoy being the companion I want to walk with and play with (a foot warmer is an added bonus lol)
