Todd came into our lives in July 1994.
We found him in the road in front of my sister's house here in northern Florida.
That was before we moved up here.
He was about 3 months old and looked like a little fox.
He is named Todd after the Disney movie "The Fox and the Hound".
His first few months were rough ones from the was he looked.
Covered in fleas and had scars on his face.
His jaw had even been broken but had healed.
I thought he would make a good puppy for my nieces but he soon changed my mind and headed home with us to south Florida.
We moved back to northern Florida in 1996.
He has been the best dog I have ever owned or will own as far as that goes.
Extremely smart, loyal and protective.
That was an unbelieveable 13 1/2 years ago!
Where did the time go?
He will be 14 in March 2008.
They say you have one dog in your life that is like no other and he is mine.
I thank God everyday for sending him to me.
Todd took over my heart and will have it until the day I die 
! I just can't put into words how much I love him and what he means to me.
So I would like to nominate my Todd for "Dog of the Year 2007".
