For Autumn Equinox this year we went to the Rollright stone circle

We were there for the sunrise on the day of the Equinox, it was amazing.

Unfortunatly it was a very coudy (and cold lol) morning, so we didnt get to see the sun come up, but we were there for the sunrise all the same.

This is the main stone circle ..... we were in the middle of this at sunrise (it was about 7am)

 

 

 

These are the whispering knights ..... (the pics do them no justice, as we were walking towards them you can really see why they are called the whispering knights, they look like a group of knights huddled together whispering, truely amazing)

 

Unfortunatly the whispering knights had been fenced off, so we were unable to touch them, but we still got a lot of energy and feeling from them all the same, although it felt quite sad that they were stuck behind the fence.

 

 

 

and this is the king stone ..... truely amazing, again unfortunatly he had been fenced off so we were unable to get too close, but once again the energys were superb even tho he was stuck behind the fence.

 

 

 

There had obviously been a lot of people worshipping the stones the weekend before we went and there was a few remians of various rituals that had been performed there ... Im not clued up on the rituals side of things, so I cant say too much on that, but one thing I found quite facinating, was the huge white feather and bell we discovered in a tree next to the stone circle ....
