We had to leave home at 1.30am to get to the east coast to watch the sun come up over the sea, the sun rise was just after 4am .....

It was amazing and it made the long drive in the early hours more than worth it (if you get the chance, go do it!)

Here are some of my solstice sunrise pics .....

We did a whole lot more on Summer Solstice day, we were out from sunrise to sunset and saw some amazing accient sites .... It was probably one of the best experiences of my whole life ....

This is an old castle ruin ..... (I had to use my pendulum to find this as its not well known .... luckily I am quite advanced in pendulum work, so didnt have too many probs)

The pics do it no justice, I can not even begin to tell you the pure beauty of this place, it was amazing ...

We also went to a ruined abbey ...... again I cant even begin to describe what we felt here, it has to be experienced for yourself .....

We did some more places, but I didnt take many more pics, because it rained non stop and we was getting soaked (all fun lol) .... but we finally ended up at Wandlebury Ring (http://www.plcane.clara.net/cambridge/wandleb.htm) where we were for the sunset .... there were some amazing sacred trees here, they had been de-formed by the high energies that run round the ring, the pics do them no justice, they have to be seen in person to be believed ....
