Guidelines

The following are 10 values and guiding principles that determine how we manage the community. Our Spiritual guidelines is The Bible. Please take time to read so we can all work together to make this a positive loving environment and to serve God.

1 John 4:7 - Beloved, let us love one another, for love is of God;

  1. When joining, set your settings to "On the web" otherwise you will get loads of mail in your mailbox.
  2. Please hide your email address using "Members Tools". This is so important since this is how we can be hacked. Also MSN will close a group if people show there email addresses in the member list.  After reading this, please go and do so. Thank you.
  3. We all should look at this group as a safe place to come and get to know one another. Respect one another and try to get along in every situation. We are here to encourage and lift one another up as the Lord would have us do. "The Golden Rule".
  4. Try to at least come in once a week and post, even just to say hi. That way we will know that you are still interested in being a member and also we love you and get concerned if we don't hear from you.
  5. Please only post family content.
  6. NO links to other groups or sites without permission from the leadership. Please no advertising or endorsing of promotional material or other sites. Even if these sites are of our faith. We are not a place to advertise other groups or web sites.
  7. There is also a list of  "No No" for posting (Copyright Laws), please check it out.
  8. Please join in. We have this wonderful opportunity to share in the Love of each other and make friends from all over the world.
  9. This is not a debating community. No debating our individual preferences in how we Worship. This includes how we worship, church doctrines, Bible preferences. politics, critizing different groups or people, or topics that lead to debate. There are other community that offer an opportunity for debate. We are here to lift each other up, not put others down. Let us look for common ground rather than say I am right and you are wrong. Share our love.
  10. When posting messages on the boards, please use small case in the titles. Large case tends to capture your eye and other postings are hard to find when checking for something specific. Thank you

If you do run into problems, please contact us through our mailboxes. Thank you for reading this. There is a thread under general messages and we would like to know you have read and understood our guidelines. Also please let us know if you have a problem understanding or if you feel the need to discuss them.
