Father God, I come to You today on behalf of all my family and friends.
Lord God, may they know Your love and peace, Your comfort and care. Open the eyes of all these dear loved ones that struggle in their faith, so that they might see their need of You.
I pray also for their needs here on this earth. Bless each one with enough. Enough health to do the work You have prepared for them. Enough money to provide shelter, clothing and sustenance. Enough love to warm them in the night and fuel them during the day. Enough peace that they might share with all around them.
Holy Lord, I pray for their families, that You would heal past hurts and restore broken relationships. That wounds would be cleaned and bound so that the pain would be relieved. Bring back the love between parents and children, husbands and wives, friends and others. May the light of Jesus shine in such a way as to eliminate any dark corners in their lives and make all things new.
Oh, our Great Physician, I stand before You and ask, healing of bodies that are diseased, broken and worn. Give relief of pain this day as they face a new year. Some are dealing with cancers, chronic illnesses or just plain old age. Make this the year that sees them stronger and healthier than they have been in a long time.
Jesus, You know who will be reading this and I ask that You prepare their hearts in advance so that You might minister to them and give them comfort and joy, a new outlook as the new year begins. Bless my friends and family, as all good things come from You.
I pray in Your beautiful, precious name my Lord
