I'm sorry that I haven't been around very much. I know that's not the way I should be. But to tell the truth, life has sort of caught up with me! I've been eagerly waiting for our church's new addition to get finished so that I can begin to move the library to the lovely BIG new one! There is so much work to this. I've had a lot of stuff packed in storage just for this time. Then there is all the new stuff that I get in every week. Yes, our library is large and used a lot. Now it's getting closer to moving time and I have to get it all done. I have a great committee, they are awesome. But, there are just some things that I alone have to do.
Then.......after the big move, we have to do library inventory. We've put it off for awhile, because of the lack of space and the stuff in storage. So I have to prepare for that so that my committee can do that.
Then there is the project I've started in my own house. Tired of having boxes setting all around, because of having too much stuff, I've started disposing of a lot of it. And along with that, a complete housecleaning. I call it my "tearing the house apart". And with my health, it all takes time. Work a little, rest a little, work a little and the cycle goes on. Then to top it all off, didn't I go and sprain my ankle last week. But, I'm thankful that it was only a sprain! It was my "bad" foot, that has a brace on it. So, I was worried about having a break/fracture/crack. My dr. is too. He's having me come back after 14 days to take another xray, just to make sure. Nice to have a dr. that is that concerned. But then he knows that if I damage that foot again, I may not be able to ever walk on it again. You can imagine how scared I was when I fell. Until they took the xrays and learned that it was all right.
Enough of that, but just wanted to let you all know what is going on with me.
I do pop in here, occasionally, but haven't been spending that much time online, of course! (Don't allow myself to get on the computer until night time, or I don't get any other work done! LOL! And my goal is to have this house cleaned by Spring! Have a lot to do yet.)
Hugs, Tilllie
