Rumor:
An email from "Dolores" from MSN saying MSN Groups are not being decomissioned or turning into Windows Live Groups.
Truth:
The email in question is a year old and came at a time when beta pages for Windows Live Groups were briefly available for viewing. People freaked out and peppered Contact for explanations. At that time, there was no official information available about any changes coming to groups. If you write to MSN now using the
Feedback link at the bottom of any Groups page, you will now get a much different response.
Rumor:
People are saying they are receiving emails from MSN stating that they have changed their minds and groups aren't going anywhere.
Truth:
The migration tool for Groups to Multiply is in beta and hasn't been officially released. It was to be released today, but the release date has been pushed back a couple of days. This was posted at Multiply here:
