Hello Connie!
Hope you are enjoying your weekend!
I sure was disappointed you couldn't send those pictures. Hope you can figure out a way to do it!
We had another scheduled dip for the kids at the vet yesterday. Hubby talked with the vet as he was checking them over. The vet now says that our youngest has seborrhea. After researching this on the web I sure agree with him too. The older one is doing great. So she was given another cortizone injection and we have a new shampoo she has to be bathed in twice a week. I could really tell a big difference after her first shampoo yesterday. So he does think we did have a mild case of scabbies and she went on to get seborrhea due to the scabbies. What a circle we have gone through to get some results. Thanks goodness they are not itching and scratching like they were.
I went to the nursing home with a fish dinner for my dad (his favorite) late yesterday afternoon. When I got there he was soiled, very disorented and had a funny look on his face. I knew something was up. I called for help to get him changed and said to send the nurse to check him out. They went to change him and he couldn't even stand up. The nurse checked his vitals and he had a fever of 103. So they called the doctor as a bad respiratory bug has been going around in there which I didn't even know about. They did blood work, exrays. Yep he has it. They started him on shots and other drugs. I went back out about 9 last night to check on him and he was sound asleep. I just had to see for myself he was ok. He has sleep all day which is a good thing. If only we could get him to drink some fluids. Hope tomorrow will be better for him! Bless his heart. He told me Wednesday....I don't think I am going to live to see the first of the year. He has me worried after that statement.
I tried to watch a football game with hubby this afternoon and fell asleep. I think I was just pooped as I didn't rest well last night worrying about my daddy. It has been another beautiful day in my neck of the woods.
Hope to see you on the boards Monday sweetie. Take care!
Hugs ~ Sandi
