Rain on the Diamantina the inspiration for me to make a true blue aussie tut comes from a beautiful spot in Queensland Australia a harsh land where the cattle and sheep free range many beautiful tunes have been written about the Diamantina one in particular a favourite of mine is the Rain never falls on the Dusty Diamantina written by John Williamson sung by many Fantastic Australian Singers as well as John Lee Kernaghen Redgum just a few to mention.Being a true blue Australian I had to share a little of my beautiful country with you all.To read the lyrics from this song Click HERE Better still see if you can find a version of any of the above singers doing the song.Let me assure you but when it does rain on the Dimantina it rains LOL Ok here we go Supplies HERE We are using the cool art of Popeye Wong all other elements made by me using photos from stock x change of the Diamantina. Orignal Mask made by WeeScotsLass Lets Get Started This is a little fiddly Lol but I have everything arranged to fit into place (we hope Lol) Open a new transparent image 550 x 550 pixels and then flood fill with white Copy and paste the gem mask as a new layer move up from the centre to just a little way from the top of the white image we will move things as we go Copy and paste the Gem Diamantina Image move up to almost the top of the mask layer Copy and paste the word art 1 to the left side of the diamantina frame Copy and paste the word art 2 to the right side of the frame Copy and paste the word art 3 to the bottom right side of the frame Copy and paste the word art 4 to the bottom of left frame see my tag above for placements of them all You may need to arrange your layers to bring the word art to the top Copy and paste the koala into the bottom corner of the right frame Copy and paste the Popeye tube arrange layers and bring her to the top add a drop shadow of V 2 H-2 Opacity 60 blur 4.00 colour black Move her up so you have enough space under her for your name and credits Now add you are ready to font your name use any font you wish I used Gill sands ultra bold condensed with the settings of Antialias sharp stroke width 1 I used a dark brown for the foreground colour and used the pattern I cut from the tag as the fill Add a drop shadow to your font same as your tube Then add your credits under your name Now if you do not wish to animate your tag is now ready to save. Animation Close off all layers except for white image mask image and diamond frame and your name and credits Click on to your diamond frame up to selections select all float you will see your marching ants on the outside of the frame work go to selections modify and contract by 18 Now up to effects Eye candy 4.00 Hsb noise with the below settings Then up to selections select none bring back all your other layers and merge flatten up to image resize by 90% smartsize all layers ticked Edit copy and paste into animation shop as a new image Back to psp hit your undo button until you are back to your frame with the ants marching inside then effects hsb noise and hit the random seed to a another number Selections select none bring back your other layers merge flatten repeat resize as above Edit copy and paste into animation shop after current frame Back to Psp undo again back to where you have your ants marching inside up to effects hsb noise click the random seed for another number Selections select none bring back your other layers merge flatten and resize once again Edit copy paste into animation shop after current frame Now Animation properties change to opaque white click ok The view view animation and you are now ready to save as a gif file (C)RealGemDesigns May 2008.If you wish to show off your result pop it in your folder or better still post on our Look What I made Today Board Tut Registered with TWI
