Clear Temp Internet Files

Step 1: Open Internet Explorer

Step 2: Click on 'Tools'

Step 3: Click on 'Internet Options'

Step 4: Under the 'General' tab, locate 'Temporary Internet Files'

Step 5: Select 'Delete Files'

Step 6: A prompt will appear asking you if would like to delete the files, kindly check the 'Delete all offline content'

Step 7: Click on 'OK'

 

 

Clear user Temp Files and Windows temp files

Step 1: Go to 'My Computer'

Step 2: Double click on 'Local Disk C'

Step 3: Go to the menu bar click on 'Tools' then click on 'Folder Options'

Step 4: Click on the 'View' tab

Step 5: Search for 'Hidden Files and Folders' then put a check in 'Show Hidden files and folders'

Step 6: Click 'Apply' when done followed by 'OK'

Step 7: Double click on Windows

Step 8: Double click on Temp

Step 9: Press on 'Ctrl' + the letter 'A' this will select all the files in the folder

Step 10: Now press the 'Delete' key

Step 11: Go back to Local Disk C

Step 12: Double click on 'Documents and Settings'

Step 13: Double click on '<Administrator>'

Step 14: Double click on 'Local Settings'

Step 15: Double click on 'Temp'

Step 16: Press on 'Ctrl' + the letter 'A' this will select all the files in the folder

Step 17: Now press the 'Delete' key

 

 

Clear Java Cache

Step 1: Click on 'Start'

Step 2: Click on 'Control Panel'

Step 3: Double click on 'Java'

Step 4: On the 'General' tab, look for 'Temporary Internet Files'

Step 5: Click on 'Delete Files'

Step 6: A pop up box will appear asking if you would like to delete the following. Please check all 3 of them. Click 'OK' when done to exit.

 

Perform Disk Defragmentation
