Wow hun for being pretty new to this you have done an excellant job wtg!!!!

Um for the brightness and contrast try this Brightness 78 contrast -19 see how that goes. The brightness on each individual letter will work with these settings hun if the font was quite a dark color at first it wont show on a pale color or really light color. Try the writing in a darker font prob will help you here
