Recipe for bread machine.
Makes one (1 1/2 pound) loaf.
Russian Black Bread1 package yeast1 tablespoon sugar1 1/2 cups bread flour1 1/2 cups medium rye flour1/4 cup whole wheat flour1/2 cup unprocessed bran flakes1 tablespoon caraway seeds1 teaspoon salt1 tablespoon instant coffee powder1/4 teaspoon fennel seeds1 cup + 2 tbl. water2 tablespoons molasses2 tablespoons cider vinegar2 tablespoons butter1/2 ounce unsweetened baking chocolateHeat in a saucepan over low heat the 1 cup + 2 tablespoons water, molasses, vinegar, butter and chocolate, stirring frequently till chocolate and butter melt. Cool. Add all ingredients to the pan, select wheat cycle and push start.
