Mountain Dew Cake



1 Box Orange Supreme Cake Mix

1 Inst. Coconut Cream Pudding

3/4 cup Vegetable Oil

4 Eggs

1 Bottle Mountain Dew (I use a 16 oz bottle)

1 cup Sugar

3 tablespoons Cornstarch

1 can Crushed Pineapple -- large

1/4 cup Margarine

1 can Angel Flake Coconut



Mix cake mix, pudding and oil. (This recipe specifies Duncan Hines

cake mix). Add eggs, one at a time, beating after each. Add 1 chilled

Mountain Dew and mix well.



Bake in 3 greased and floured 9 inch pans for 30 minutes at 325

degrees. Ice while hot.



ICING Mix together sugar and cornstarch. Stir in pineapple with

juice. Cook, stirring constantly until thick.

Remove from heat and add margarine and cocomut. Spread on cake while

hot.

Dreamsicle Cake - MaryFran

Cake:
1 box of Orange Supreme cake mix
3 eggs
1-1/3 cup of water
1/3 cup oil

Frosting:
1 small box orange jello
1/2 cup hot water
1/2 cup cold water
1 small box vanilla instant pudding
1 cup milk
1 small carton Cool Whip
2 tsp. vanilla

Follow recipe on back of box for cake or use this recipe.Add eggs, water and oil;
beat 2 minutes. Pour in a 13 X 9-inch pan.
Bake 30-35 minutes. When cool (few minutes), poke holes in cake. Pour in jello
that was mixed with cold and hot water.
Chill 3 hours. Mix pudding with milk; mix into Cool Whip. Frost cake.

Lemon or strawberry supreme cake can be used also

ORANGE DELIGHT CAKE

1 orange flavored or yellow cake mix
1 c. sour cream
2 eggs
1 can peach pie filling

Mix well and bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes.
Frosting: Mix together 12 ounce can crushed pineapple, 8 ounce
cream cheese, 1 box instant vanilla pudding mix and 8 ounce tub
of Cool Whip. Spread on cooled cake. May garnish with mandarin
oranges.

MOUNTAIN DEW CAKE
1 box Duncan Hines orange supreme cake mix
1 box coconut cream pie filling (not instant)
1 c. Crisco oil
4 eggs
1 can chilled Mountain Dew

Pour all ingredients into mixing bowl and beat for 5 minutes. Pour into
3 (9 inch) cake pans. Bake at 325 degrees until done.

FROSTING:

1 lg. can crushed pineapple
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 stick butter
1 can angel flake coconut
3 tbsp. cornstarch

Mix sugar and cornstarch well. Add other ingredients. Cook on medium
heat until it thickens. When cool (not cold) spread on cake layers.

Orange Pudding Cake

1 box Duncan Hines Deluxe orange or lemon cake mix
1 box instant lemon pudding
1 c. whole eggs, room temp.
1 c. water
1/2 c. Crisco oil

Combine all and blend 2 minutes. Bake at 350
degrees for 35 minutes. While warm, poke holes
with fork and pour over the following.

Heat the following:
2 c. powdered sugar
2 tbsp. oil
2 tbsp. boiling water
1/4 c. fresh orange juice

Serve with whipped cream.

Orange Delight Cake
1 orange cake mix ( I use Duncan Hines)

2 eggs
1/2 cup sour cream
Mix with fork for 1 minute. Pour into ungreased jelly roll pan. Bake 25-35 minutes at 350 degrees. A pan 13x9 can be used also.

Frosting
1-8 ounce cream cheese ( room temperature)
1 small box instant vanilla pudding
1-20 ounce can crushed pineapple, undrained
1- 8 ounce cool whip

Mix cream cheese with pudding & pineapple using mixer. Fold in cool whip. Frost cake that has been completely cooled.
