BROWN-FAST MIX-TNT
"Just as its name implies, it browns meat faster. Seasons it, too!"
2 cups Gold Medal Flour 1/2 cup non-fat dry milk solids 1 tbsp. salt 1 tsp. pepper 2 tsp. paprika
Sift all ingredients together. Store in cool place in tightly covered container. To save time, make a large amount (4 cups at one time). Fill large salt shaker and keep near the range.
Use as needed for flouring meat (chicken, steak, chops, stew meat, etc.). Measure mix directly into plastic bag. Shake meat in this. Save the leftover mix for making gravy (do not store leftover mix after used in bag with raw meat).
SEASONING TIPS: To 1 cup mix add 1/2 teaspoon either marjoram or thyme, or celery salt, or flavor extender, or 1/4 tsp. garlic salt.
Makes about 2 1/2 cups mix
