Banana Mango Smoothie



Ingredients:



4 oz. reduced-calorie vanilla yogurt

2 bananas, sliced and frozen

3/4 cup frozen mango slices

1 12-oz. can mango nectar

8 oz. nonfat vanilla yogurt



Instructions:



Combine all ingredients in blender and process until smooth and creamy.

Serve immediately

Iced Strawberry Tea
 
1 pint fresh strawberries
4 cups cold tea
1/3 cup sugar or artificial sweetener to taste (Equal)
1/4 cup lemon juice
Ice cubes
 
Puree strawberries in a blender; strain into a pitcher.  Stir in tea, sugar or Equal and mix until sugar dissolves.  Chill.  Pour over ice.
 
Makes 5 servings

Sangria Punch

1 tub Crystal Light Raspberry Ice Flavor Low Calorie Soft Drink Mix
4 cups cold diet cranberry juice cocktail
1 cup cold orange juice
1 cup cold white grape juice
2 cups cold club soda
lemon, lime or orange slices
ice cubes

Place drink mix in large plastic or glass pitcher. Add juices; stir to dissolve. Refrigerate. Just before serving, pour into large punch bowl. Stir in club soda. Garnish with fruit slices. Serve over ice. Serves 8.

41% calorie reduction from traditional recipe.

2 cups plain nonfat yogurt
1 medium size ripe banana, peeled, sliced
1/2 cup Equal® Spoonful*
3 tablespoons lemon juice
2 cups frozen unsweetened whole strawberries
1 cup frozen unsweetened red raspberries

Combine yogurt, banana, Equal® and lemon juice in blender container; cover. Blend until smooth. Add half of frozen fruit. Blend until smooth. Repeat with remaining frozen fruit.

Serve immediately in tall glasses.

Makes 4 servings (1 1/4 cups each).

Non-calorie sweetener equal to 2 tbsp. sugar
Dash of nutmeg

Peel banana, slice into large chunks. Freeze. When frozen, combine in blender with 1 cup skim milk, non-calorie sweetener equal to 2 tablespoons sugar and dash of nutmeg. Blend just until mixture is thick and frosty. Serve immediately.

In a large bowl, combine the first five ingredients; mix until sugar is dissolved.  Chill for 1-2 hours.  Just before serving, stir in Sprite and pour into punch bowl.
 
Yeild: 24 servings (3 quarts)

Combine all ingredients; mix well.  Store in an airtight container.  To serve, add 3 tblsp mix to 3/4 cup boiling water.  16 servings

2 cups ice
1 to 1-1/2 cups of non-fat milk
1/4 cup Splenda
1-2 tablespoons banana, orange, vanilla, or strawberry extract

In blender, combine milk and ice. Blend until a milkshake consistency is reached. Add Splenda and one or more of the flavorings or extracts of your choice. Process on high speed for 1 minute.

Makes about two 8 oz. glasses.

1 cup Tropicana Orange-Pineapple Juice
2 cups frozen strawberries
1 tablespoon honey
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 pack Nasoya Silken Tofu
1 cup Silk Very Vanilla Soymilk
1 large banana
12 packets Splenda
Spike w/coconut rum (optional but recommended!)

Place all ingredients into a powerful blender and blend until smooth and creamy!
