CHESS CAKE

1 egg, well beaten
1 stick butter, melted
1 box yellow cake mix with pudding

Melt butter (not too hot). Add egg and cake mix, make a dough and pat into oblong baking dish. Then mix: 1 box 10X powdered sugar
1 (8 oz.) pkg. cream cheese
2 well beaten eggs
1/2 tsp. vanilla or fresh lemon juice

Pour this mixture over dough; bake at 325 degrees F. for 35 to 40 minutes or until golden brown. Don't overcook (mixture will be soft when done). Let cool. Cut into small pieces. Freezes well.

German Chocolate Upside down Cake

2 cups coconut
1 cup chopped nuts
Place in a greased 10x13 pan. Mix one box German chocolate cake.
Mix as directed on box. Pour over coconut and nuts.

Mix two sticks melted butter or margarine.
1 8oz cream cheese and one box powdered sugar. Pour over cake
and bake for 50-60 minutes at 325 degrees. (this can easily be
cut in  portions and frozen).

Very Strawberry Cake serves 12---sonja
------------------------------------------------------------ 3 Ounce
Jello, strawberry 1/2 Cup Water, cold 1 Each Cake Mix, white 4 Each
Egg(s) 1 Cup Vegetable Oil 3 Tablespoon Flour 10 Ounce Strawberries,
frozen thawed 6 Tablespoon Butter 4 Cup Powdered Sugar approximate

Directions: Dissolve the gelatin in the cold water. Combine the
gelatin mixture with the cake mix, eggs, oil, flour, and 1/2 of the
strawberries and strawberry juice. Beat the mixture with an electric
mixer on medium for 5 minutes, scraping occasionally. Pour the batter
into a greased and floured 13X9 cake pan. Bake at 325 degrees until
the cake tests done. It will take 35 to 40 minutes. Test the cake by
inserting a toothpick into the center. When you pull it out it should
not have any batter or crumbs stuck to it. Cool this cake in the pan
on a wire rack. When it is cool, you can turn the cake out of the pan
if you like. To make the frosting, cream the butter, sugar and the
remaining strawberries in a bowl until light and fluffy, adding
additional sugar if it is too thin, adding a drop or two of water if
it is too thick. Spread the frosting over the cake. Freezing and
Serving Directions: If you like, you can freeze the cake UNFROSTED,
right in the pan. You can place the sugar, butter and remaining
strawberries in a freezer bag. To serve the cake, thaw it and the
frosting ingredients completely. Whip the frosting ingredients
together as above and frost the cake.

7-Up Cake

3 sticks of softened butter
3 cups of sugar
5 eggs
3 cups of all purpose flour
1 teaspoon Lemon extract
1 teaspoon Vanilla extract
Three-quarters cup of 7-Up

Cream butter. Add sugar, then one egg at a time. Add flour gradually, then add extracts. Add 7-Up on low speed. Pour into greased tube pan. Bake in preheated 350 degree oven for one hour. When cool, sprinkle with 10x powdered sugar. This cake can be frozen even with powdered sugar on it. Wrap in foil, freeze and thaw when company's coming.
