Wagon Train Pasta



3 cups uncooked wagon wheel pasta

1 egg

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp minced garlic

1/8 tsp pepper

1/2 lb hamburger

2 Tbsp parmesan cheese

2 Tbsp bread crumbs

1 1/2 cups spaghetti sauce

1 cup shredded mozarella cheese



Cook pasta according to directions. meanwhile, beat egg, salt, garlic, and

pepper. Add meat and mix well. Sprinkle with parmesan and bread crumbs.

Mix gently. Crumble beef mixture into a large skillet. Cook until meat is no

longer pink. Drain. Stir in spaghetti sauce. Reduce heat, cover and simmer

for 2-4 mines or until heated through.

Drain pasta, place in serving bowl. Add beef mixture. Sprinkle with 1/2

cup cheese. Toss until well coated. and cheese is melted. Sprinkle with

remaining cheese.

Beefy Wagon Wheels Recipe

Ingredients:
1 pound lean ground beef or turkey
2 cups uncooked wagon wheel pasta
1 can (14 1/2 oz size) stewed tomatoes
1 1/2 cup water
1 package (10 oz size) frozen corn
1/2 cup barbecue sauce

Directions:

In large skillet, cook beef over medium heat 5 minutes or until well browned. Stir in pasta, tomatoes, water, corn, and barbecue sauce; bring to a boil.

Reduce heat to low; cover and simmer 15 to 20 minutes or until pasta is tender, stirring occasionally.

Add salt and
ground black pepper to taste.
