Candy Bar Salad Children will enjoy this salad that combines chopped apples and candy bars. The dressing has mayonnaise, vinegar, sugar and celery seed. Ingredients: �?2 Granny Smith apples, cored and chopped �?2 Jonathan apples, cored and chopped �?6 snack-size Butterfinger candy bars, chopped �?1/2 cup salad dressing or mayonnnaise �?2 Tablespoons rice wine vinegar �?2 Tablespoons sugar �?1/2 teaspoon celery seed Method: Combine the apples and candy bars in a large mixing bowl. Combine the salad dressing, vinegar, sugar and celery seed in small bowl. Pour over the apples and toss gently to coat. Chill at least an hour. Notes: This can be changed entirely by using different candy bars. Number of servings: Serves 6-8 | |

Snicker Salad This popular and well-loved dessert salad combines diced apples, pieces of Snicker's candy bar, peanuts and a generous amount of Cool Whip. Ingredients: �?4 tart apples, diced �?2, 8 oz. cartons Cool Whip, thawed �?2 regular-size Snickers candy bars �?1 small pkg. roasted peanuts Method: Wash, core and dice apples. Cut Snickers candy bars in half lengthwise down the middle, then dice into small pieces. Combine all ingredients. Refrigerate until ready to serve. Notes: Number of servings: 8 | |
