If you can't get into chat you might need to delete chat client

 

 

 

 

Cick tools right click internet options

Choose settings on the general tab

  

click view objects

 

right click msn chat client then  Remove.

Close ALL your internet explorer windows then open a new one navigate back to the site then chat & install chat (turn off pop up blockers!)
