I have been craving stew so I made a huge pot of it.  It has chuck steak cubes, carrots, onions, turnips, rutabagas, fresh green beans, potatoes and spices with a couple of bay leaves.  It smells marvelous......

Mmm that trout sound yummy! I won't eat the fish from the lakes round here. I don't like the glow-in-the-dark look
Making Devonshire Pasties from a recipe I have saved from a magaizine in 1986.
The recipe makes bite size but I'll make them bigger for Don & Will.

Made Meat-lovers Pizza for lunch and ran a personal Pan pizza up to the school for Will's lunch as a reward. He has been amazing in the morning getting ready for school.

I've got some chicken breasts now just have to think of what to do with them...LOL.
I'm just plain sick of cooking.  I may look through my NEW cookbook and see what I come up with.

I found this easy recipe  for chicken pot pie that sounds great. SOmeone who reviewed it even gave her recipe for how she doctored it up and it sounds really interesting.  I need to come off my diet before I try it but thought some of you would be interested

When we get hungry for chicken pot pie I go to the freezer section and buy Claim Jumpers Chicken Pot Pie.  I give it 6 stars and I can not eat a whole one it's so big
and it's $3.  I've tried making it before and it's always a disaster no matter how easy it says it is.

I'm buying a rotissirie chicken and making enchiladas (a recipe I made up) my family went crazy for them..I have to say they're the best I've ever tasted.

Tonight we are going to have chef salads.  Allens been really sick.  Cold, the shakes, hot, sweats...Just asked him yesterday to get a flu shot and then this and his first week of work.  He feels sooo bad about it but he couldn't even raise his head off the pillow this morning...so soup for our lunch and salad for dinner...keepin it light.

I'm trying a pork roast in the crockpot that has cranberry sauce, apples, onions and other stuff.  You slice it and put it over rice.  Will have some green beans with it.

Minestrone..yum. Mine is always out of a can!
Hubby cooked chicken drumsticks, mashed potatoes. All I had to do was heat up some frozen veggies.
Lights are flickering ...more snow ...so we had an early supper.

I'm using some leftover turkey and making a curry rice...My friend made it and yummo.  It has marinated artichoke hearts, olives, green onion and I used red pepper instead of green pepper...You use Rice a roni then make a mixture of
curry, the juice from artichokes and a little mayo and add that to the rice.
