Just moving this here too for our new Aimoo joinees in case you missed it
Since anyone visiting Aimoo can see your profile and its probably in some random Aimoo user's "suggested friend" list you might wish to adjust your privacy settings in your profile.
The sidebar in your profile gives you a choice for settings. Here's some suggestions. Keep in mind you will see it in your own profile, even if you make it private

I'm not sure what I did or didn't do but I've had no problems with anyone bothering me.

Jazzy are they actually on your  friends list or under the suggest friends list? If it is under the suggested list there is a  way to hide it. When I have more time I will get you the link to the info. Remind me if I forget, lol.

Jazzy, Bubu is probably correct and what you're seeing is just "suggested" friends.  Just don't click on any of them.  You can also do as Bubu suggested and "hide" that part of your profile.  I found this on the Help Forum:

The users in the Friend Suggestions are selected by Aimoo system based on your location, gender, etc. There's a way to hide/delete it, click the icon near the 'Friend Suggestions' title to hide it.

That's it Jazzy. I wanted to give you the picture of the sign next to where it says Invite friends but didn't know how to take a picture of it. There is a thread on the help site that can help you.

Jazzy, here is the link to the info. It is about half way down the page - it is posted by Aministrator. It tells you what to do.

Bubu, that's the exact same thread I posted the quote from.

That same thread brought up something I had not thought of.  That WE are also likely to show up somewhere on someone else's "Suggested Friends" list!  Which makes me think it's even more important to take extra care in what's visible in our profile.  I'm going in all of mine and just making pretty much everything invisible!

I don't have much info in my profile but one of my "suggested fiends" is a friend of mine on myspace. Not you Bubu
It's  a gal with a son who has autism that I have made a few sig tags for.
more info in your profile, more suggested friends with common interests
But my info shows
"I live in a pineapple uunder the  sea"
