Well I just finished day 83 and have to say I got a wakeup call from a manager here that I very much respect!  She didn't slap my face but hit me right between the eyes with the fact that everyone has trama in their lives to deal with sooner or later.  I have always prided myself on my ability to deal with stress/long hours but the stroke put a new personal twist on it.  5 hours of sleep had its effect.  The chip on my shoulder is gone thanks to her and I respect everyone here!

Thanks to all the hard work the managers have put in at the new site.  I tip my hat to you guys (emm and Sandy)!  I still look when I can for a better site but so far no luck.  If I find one I shall forward it to you for review.

Scott, I remember when Survivor started and I found our first site at the CBS site.  I actually had to ask my daughters how people were posting and finally tried it and it posted.  I was in hog heaven that I had posted.  Now, most of us are back to square one learning to do it all again.  Hey Scott, if a small LA college can beat Alabama then the two of us can learn to post again!  I am game, are you?

emm, I'm cool now with being an advanced member after asking you to demote me.  I may like the chat room in the future.

I can't deny I felt special as the owner of the site at one time but titles now don't mean squat to me.  My only request is ask before any changes are made!  Long live GFCT where ever we go!  Folgy would be proud of us to continue to drive on!  I'm willing, r u?

I'm trying, believe me I am, but I just don't care for the new site. I'll post some and stay in touch but just don't think I'll be much of a "regular" there. I'm not mad at anyone, cept for Bill Gates. That sumbich can kiss my ass for what he did to a really great group.

Thanks Smitty for the vote of confidence..and bless the person you talked to!!  Scott, I'm coming to Bama and open up a can of whup azz on you and if I have to walk you through it holding your hand...by god, I'll do it.

Smitty, if you're MIA for awhile it will be understandable with all that you have on your plate right now.

We have learned our lesson about change without consultation.

Smitty let me just say that we own our own business and being the owner of something is a great big freaken headache.

Long live GFCT

LMAO Jonesy, you overshot Scott by two states.  I am from Bama and he is from Cajun Country.  Finally got my 5 hours of peaceful sleep and feel refreshed!!!!

MIA - I'd have to be a POW for that!

Jazzy, you didn't miss anything.   However, never ever email a manager and expect a sugar coated answer.  I got the response that I truly needed to get my head back where it needed to be.  Actually I am glad I sent her the email and I understand we all have things going on in our lives that cause us to react differently than normal.  She is a good sport especially considering she gets rained on all the time!

Scott I to hate that MSN is getting rid of groups.  Life goes on and I will learn to function at AIMOO or anywhere else we choose to go.  I've been a member of sites that had miminum posts weekly required and knock down drag out fighting and I only returned because of this peaceful, laid back site where I could post without wondering what the next post would bring.

God bless each and everyone of you and I look forward to a long relationship regardless where it has to be.

I have no idea what you are talking about that happened Smitty but I am awfully glad it was resolved. You have so much stress on you now with work and your wife, you need time to decompress.  Take some time out for you, you can only be strong and there for your wife if you are healthy and rested. Hard to do but even if you take twenty minutes to something may help.

The new place takes some getting used to but I have every confidence that we all can do it. Post and play on it all you want. It is the only way you will learn it and feel confident. Ask questions, if you run into trouble and someone will be more than happy to help.   Scott, I join you in being mad at Gates too. He took a successful enterprise and trashed one of the better features.  After using the new site, it is such a pleasure to not have to fight to get my post made. It would take me so long to open the reply window that I wouldn't post unless I had somthing more to add to the conversation.  I hated it in the beginning but now I am growing to like it better than MSN. Give it time.

lmao, BAMA means Alabama, home of the University of Alabama and where I went to college.  One of the colleges that has won more National Championships in college football than most.  This year we are #1 but Florida may end that in the SEC playoffs.  I'm cool with that because under Coach Saban we are back in the hunt.

Bubu, your home to one of my greatest Survivor players,  Lis.

Jonesy, best of luck to you getting Scott.  If he is in the bayou that is a hard task even for a Southerner!  That is one bad a$$ place where normal people avoid!

That's why I'm meeting up with you Smitty if I have to.  You'll gather some of your military friends and we'll go out on recon mission.
