Mmassage your nails and the cuticle with olive oil for a few minutes
everyday. It will make your nails stronger over time and also keep the cuticle and the skin around your fingers soft

Eat plenty of Jell-o(Sugar-free, of course)And take gelatin capsules.
Make sure you are eating plenty of protein, and there are special
vitamins in Health products catalogs for this purpose, to.
When you have heavy, or dirty chores around the house protect your hands with rubber gloves.  And, use *NUTRA-NAIL*it seems to put a protective layer on the nail itself. Finally, when you break a nail tend to it  ASAP by filing the torn edges and reapplying polish.

Try buying some *KNOX GELATIN* Mix it with either water or juice and drink it every day.  It will help build up your nails so they won't be flimsy anymore.  Also as you doctor about good calcium supplement.  *NUTRA NAIL* is (available at any drug store and discount stores) is a really great product and it works wonders.  I hope this helps.

Adding more protein to your diet will help them get stronger and stay that way. Mine were like that until I started going to the gym and ate the energy bars before a workout. My nails became very strong and they have stayed that way because of the additional protein. There is not a quick fix for this, but your diet makes a big difference!

Try a nail salon,*NAIL TEK* is an awesome clear polish.  You apply 2 coats the first day then reapply one coat once a day for a week, remove and reapply.  It worked for me and my hands are in water all the time!
