PRICE LABELS
When buying items for your home or office, often you are left with unsightly tags and stickers that you want to take off. Here are a few ideas that you can use to get stickers off of some items:
To remove messy glue residue left by price labels on things like CD covers, place a piece of sticky tape over the mess, gently rub it, then peel it off carefully. Repeat if necessary until all the glue has gone.
When you have a sticker on a window, glass, or picture frame, you can often use a razor. Sliding the razor carefully along the glass you can remove the sticker. Using hot water with a cloth will remove any sticky residue left behind.
Stickers on tubs, sinks, faucets and similar items can be soaked in water for the labels to fall off easily.
If you are trying to remove the sticky stuff left behind from a label or a price tag off of glass or plastic...use furniture polish (Pledge, etc.) it will come off perfectly.
A little nail polish remover can quickly remove the residue from sticky price tags on glassware, but don't try it on plastic. You can also use nail polish thinner. Again do not use on plastic as it can melt the plastic.
Stickers on books and papers will usually peel right off, sometimes leaving a bit of residue behind. Using an eraser or your thumb press gently on the area and rub until the sticker comes off!
To remove price sticker glue from metal items use baby oil on the affected area, rub vigorously with a cotton bud
