Keeping Pearls Clean
Most commercial jewelry cleaners specifically state they are not intended to clean pearls.  So what can you use instead?  To clean pearls and help them keep their natural luster, use a small amount of olive oil on a soft cloth.  Rub it over the pearls and then buff them with a clean, dry cloth.
