Laundry Bags
You need:
fabric; sewing supplies; felt; embroidery thread; embroidery needle; twisted cording.

Sewing: For each bag, cut one piece 13" x 35". Fold 1/2" to wrong side along each long edge and press. Sew along folded edge 2-1/2" down from each short end. Fold each short end 1/2" to wrong side and press. Fold same edge 2" to wrong side again and pin. Sew across each end 1" down from folded edge. Sew across 2" from edge to make a casing for cording. With right sides facing, fold piece in half crosswise. Sew side edges together leaving casing edges unsewn. Cut two pieces of twisted cording, each 36" long. Thread cording pieces through casings on front and back pieces and knot ends together to secure. Cut number from felt. Position on front of bag. Work blanket stitch with embroidery thread around number to secure to front of bag.
