Trinket Box
So pretty, enclosing a gift would be gilding the lily—just add a heartfelt note or candy.

How Do I Love Thee - Box

Heart-shaped cardboard box (ours is 5" wide)
White primer (Krylon)
Pink-striped or other paper to cover
Ribbon for side of lid
Artificial flower for top
Mod Podge matte glue
Tacky glue (Aleene’s Quick Dry)
Foam brush; small sharp scissors

PRIME outside of box and lid. Let dry.

CUT strips of the paper 3/4" wider and longer than box and lid sides. Trace lid top on the paper and cut out shape.

BRUSH Mod Podge onto back of paper strips and apply centered along box and lid sides. Clip into excess every 1/4" and fold over edges. Glue paper heart to top of lid.

ATTACH ribbon along side of lid and flower to center top with tacky glue.
