Make Your Bras Last Baby your bras with these tips from Sherri Phillips, director of marketing for Bali: | Hand-wash To keep delicate fabrics looking pretty, keep them out of the washing machine. Fill a deep sink with cold water and gentle detergent (hand soap works, too), then soak.
| | Bag 'em If you'd rather burn your bras than hand-wash, put them in a lingerie bag or pillow liner, and set your machine on the delicate cycle at a cool temperature. Also, make sure the hooks and eyes are clasped so the bras don't tangle.
| | Line dry Never, ever put bras in the dryer. "It's the death of them," says Phillips. Instead, after washing, clip them to a clothesline or hang them on a drying rack. Keep them away from sunlight to avoid fading. | |
