As a number of you are aware, Phyllis Quarles is very ill. She is battling
ovarian cancer and has been in the hospital for over a month due to
complications of the disease and ongoing chemotherapy treatments.

Many people, touched by Phyllis's spirit of fun and generosity over the
years, have asked what they can do for her. Here is a great way to help
and also have a chance to win some amazing prizes.

I want to thank Harmony Ball Company, Adam Binder Editions,

Martin Perry Studios and Friends of David Lawrence for their donations.

Two of the donations are particularly impressive and considered by most
collectors to be the holy grail of these two collectible lines.

Her brother Neil, who is an attorney, will handle the funds for her while

she remains in the hospital. Donations will be sent to him as quickly as possible
so, if you are writing a check, it will not take long to clear.

The prizes will be displayed at the Harmony Kingdom event in Orlando

where we will continue to sell tickets until the end of the Swap n' Sell

on Saturday, April 12th when we will draw the winners.

Some of the prizes have not yet arrived,
so better pictures & more prizes will be added to the raffle page soon.

Orlando Event.

Bravo to Ann for coordinating this and kudos to HK and Adam and the others for supporting and being so generous with the contributions...

here's an update on our

"Raffle for a Friend"
So far, we have raised
$2,970.00

A really big THANK YOU!

to everyone who has donated so generously.

But for those of you who are wondering
if they should take the plunge...
keep in mind, the odds are still very good.

***I'm not going to give you exact numbers,
but I will tell you this... most of the tickets are
split between "Curly Tree Top Tag" & "Back Scratch",

with a healthy number of $5.00 tickets purchased for the
Who'd a Thought, FW Polar Bear & Shaggy Dog.

But even if one takes the full $2970 divides by $25 per ticket
and divides that evenly between the two...

one gets only 60 tickets for the Curly Tree Top Tag

and 60 tickets for the Back Scratch.

Not bad odds, eh?

So there's still plenty of time to purchase tickets
for these and all the other wonderful prizes donated.
