Who Wants Another Prototype?
The next piece is the prototype for Peter Calvesbert's Heavyweight Champions. Handwritten on the base is "Elephant/Snail Prototype" - the poor thing didn't even have a name yet! Being a prototype, there is no box. The subject matter is somewhat strange but, hey, that's just kinda the way Pete is!
A few HK collectors are graciously donating prized pieces to help raise funds for a fellow collector who has incurred some major medical expenses and who needs to move closer to better medical care. There will be several of these marvelous pieces listed on auction on eBay. You can help by generously bidding on the pieces. While the proceeds are not deductible as far as the IRS concerned, you will know that you are helping a fellow HK friend.
