Hey all,
thought you'd be interested in this news.
Very cool, eh?
Ann

For the 2008 annual in-store event, Peter Calvesbert has carved a trio of macabre bats.

“FrightFest?is only an edition of 751
and retails for $75.00

This is Peter’s first box figurine to depict these extraordinary winged creatures
and as always, the gift boxes will be shrink-wrapped.

 “FrightFest?event weekend is
Friday October 31st - Sunday November 2nd

There will be four variations

Version #1: Standard Version
530 of the 751 feature brown bats with black wings and a pink sign that reads “Bat Standing Contest? Lift the lid to see a bat in full flight

Version #2: Mold Variation
165 of the 751 feature mold variations. The coloration is the same as the above version, but the pink sign now reads “Dingbat Contestants?and an additional sign along the base reads “Giant Constant Debts? A third surprise anagram is engraved around the lid. The interior depicts a witch and her furry companion riding astride a broomstick

Version #3:  Color Variation
A very rare 55 of the 751 edition are the color variation version, tinted in black.
Few HK pieces are entirely black! The interior features the bat in flight.

Version #4: One-of-a-Kind Jewel-Encrusted Piece
And the rarest of them all ?the gemstone “FrightFest? This one-of-a-kind piece has the body of the mold variation but is painted by Peter himself, and encrusted with jewels!

I think Peter did an excellent job carving the trio of bats!!!

And soon the hunt will be on for the variations!!

Good luck everyone
