Sorry if this has already been posted, but I just ran across it on the HK website.  What a wonderful tribute to Phyllis.

Phyllis Quarles, a friend of many in the Harmony Kingdom community, passed away this year. In homage to her very special spirit, Peter carved “Quarles?Reef? featuring some of her favorite subjects ?seahorses, mermaids and ladybugs.

The first 500 pieces of this open edition have subdued coloration, with 20% of proceeds going to the Ovarian Cancer National Alliance. Piece 501 and beyond has celebratory colors ?bright blue and deep coral. “Quarles?Reef?arrives stateside this July, with the vivid version following in September.

The photo of the piece can be found here:

There were TWO different releases of "Quarles Reef"... the limited edition of 500 is the one where 20% of the proceeds will go to the National Ovarian Cancer Alliance...

This was a very speciala piece for a very special lady... not a day goes by that I do not miss something about Phyllis... her smile, her generosity, he inante ability to bring out the very best in every single person she met...

It's amazing how our heart plays tricks on us.  I sometimes find myself dialing (all right pushing buttons) my Mom's phone number and she has been gone for well over 19 years.

Along the same line, when Mr. Darcy came into my life I picked up the phone to tell Phyllis!  Sharing the sorrow of Devon and the joy of Darcy with her was such a natural thing to do, it just doesn't seem possible that I can only do it in my heart.

We were all so blessed to know and love her, we were truly 'touched by an angel'
