I've just been informed by Bern wearing her 4C hat that SIAB made the Rats In a Sack into a box. So it wasn't a part of the counterfeit mess after all.
Apparently since it wasn't copyrighted they were able to copy it, along with quite a few other of the oriental pile pieces.
Now that she mentions it, I do remember that there was quite a brew ha ha about it at the time, but there was nothing illegal about it.
I did not know that they ever used the Animal Antics name, thought that they always used their SIAB name. Live and learn in this business...Sorry for the mis-information.
