One of the commuters I ride with is a real computer geek. In fact, he is a computer tech that flies all over the U.S. and to England on regular visits. He just got back from a trip and I asked him if he had been thoroughly searched at the airport. He said that while the search was more thorough than usual, the agents completely overlooked a multi-tool as well as a pocket knife that he keeps in his laptop carry on bag. He had forgotten about the knife in his pack, and only uses it to work on computers. However, he was able to board several flights over the past week and was never asked about it! Comforting, huh? |
