OOC:I quite enjoy this r/p it's back into the Addison vibe; ps Erik White=Erik Banks it's the new last name lol xxIN THE MAKING The time for stepping up had presented itself. Exodus was only code for becoming something more, or at least in Addison's eyes it was. She could never be who Ambika was and she probably would never get the recognition that she truly deserved but she wasn't going to dwell on things that didn't really matter all that much. There was focus only on her match and what she could do to ensure a win for it. She was going to be herself and that might just be the key to everything. Addison wasn't going to jump through hoops to get something that she had the ability to obtain by herself, in a simple way. Ambika would of course put up a good fight but Addison was going to go the extra mile. Someone once said that only the people that push themselves past the limit know their real limits and that was true for Addison. She was going to push herself until she simply couldn't any longer and if that wasn't enough then she would of course have doubts about herself but with great gains comes great losses and some that Addison would have to suffer. She had her first big loss at the night of champions and her first huge gain the month before at Vendetta. The pattern that Addison wished to continue would stop after Exodus and leave her with the bloodsport championship as she truly wanted. People didn't want to see Addison with the title for unknown reasons but that only made her want it that much more. The passion that she had exceeded that of most wrestlers and her attitude was quite different from most. Addison looked for the good in all and in herself she saw a good champion, a strong champion. Most importantly someone who really could be a champion and she wanted to let other people see that as well all that was missing was the championship to complete that image that she was building for the world, and for herself. It wasn't about being selfish though, it was about being seen in a light that was different than the one that she was being seen in now. The one hit wonder of CPW, maybe it wasn't the thought on everyone's mind but word spread around in the back and jealousy only led to worse things and Addison had caught up on the hott gossip that included her. She wasn't going to be the one hit wonder of the CPW anymore, this time around she wouldn't let her nerves and all the talk get the best of her and while the refs seemed to favor Ambika over her and she felt like it was almost a waste of time trying so hard she would throw her all into the match and hope for the best. After all she didn't have anything to lose. Well in a sense she did because losing this match would put her at the bottom but Ambika had the title on the line and that was the important part. Addison wanted to feel important and it seemed that people would only give her the time of day if she was holding a title. It was all in the making. The silk sheets felt good on Addison's bare legs. The night had brought a good sleep and now the sunlight was creeping in through the window of her apartment window. She had to be at the airport very soon, Addison curled up into a ball feeling Erik's arm draped over her stomach and smiled as she opened her eyes. She could feel the breath coming from Erik's mouth on her neck and she etched forward turning around to look at a sound asleep Erik. She kissed him on the forehead and slipped out of his grasps. He turned around as she did, she slid to the end of the bed letting her feet touch the floor. The wooden floor beneath her feet was cold she took a second before getting to her feet. She tip toed towards the bathroom. She stepped onto the tile of the bathroom slowly closing the door behind her so as not to wake Erik. She then turned towards the shower going over to it and turning it on. She let the water run so that it could get hott. She began to take off her clothing letting it just fall to the floor. She checked the water with her hand and then quickly stepped into the shower. She began to wash her hair, it wasn't long before Addison had been taken back into the 5th grade. The teacher looked to her with a grin, it was almost like the grin of a clown scary but inviting. The teacher cracked the ruler on the desk beside her. It held a candy apple red apple on it and the apple shook as the ruler smacked it. The teacher then paced back and forth for a second. She stopped abruptly turning to look into Addison's eyes. Teacher; Addison, what are your goals? The teacher continued to smile at Addison who sat in a child's desk. She looked confused and she looked scared. The dreams she had been having were far out of the ordinary, I suppose that's what happens when you go up against Ambika Renton. Addison swallowed the tears that welled up inside of her throat and then all of the sudden there was almost a clearing of her mind. It was like a summer breeze that had been inhaled and relaxed her. She sat up straight realizing what her true goal was, one that was so very obvious. Addison Sky; My goal is to prove myself. Teacher; Explain. The tone of the teacher was harsh, a tone that would make some shiver with fear but not Addison she had found her center. She simply grinned at the dark haired teacher. The thick curls of her hair were pulled back in a tight bun that matched her tight skirt suit. The teacher smacked a ruler into her hand threatening Addison with consequences for wrong answers. However in this case Addison couldn't give a wrong answer looking into her face you couldn't even tell that teacher existed. Addison Sky; I want people to see me for who I am and see that I'm better than what each and every one of them suspects. I say things like this often and that's because no one seems to understand that I'm going the distances that some don't see during their careers. My goal is to call myself a two time Bloodsport champion. What's yours? A dark light covered the teachers face as Addison's voice echoed off the walls of the confined room. A red light then snapped onto the teacher who glared at the floor. She then looked up to show Ambika's face on the oddly shaped head. Addison narrowed her eyes getting more confused by the second. Miss Renton; My goal is to stop you from achieving your goal. Ambika laughed loudly as Addison stared towards her. It was obvious that Addison wasn't up for hearing it once again. Hearing that someone wanted to stand in the way that there were obstacles. There would always be things to overcome and Addison planned to do that much with grace. She looked straight into the eyes of Miss Renton. The blank stare on her face showed no fear. Addison Sky; Good luck with that. Addison smiled. Miss Renton; Oh Addison...Addison...Addison. Erik White; Addison! Are you in there? Addison opened her eyes coughing loudly as she choked on the water in the shower. She had fallen asleep in the shower, she rubbed her eyes getting the water out of them. Addison Sky; Yeah I'm in here! Addison reached forward turning off the shower. She widened her eyes making sure that she was wide awake. She reached out from the shower and grabbed the towel beside the shower wrapping it around her body not thinking about drying herself off. Erik finally made his way into the bathroom. Addison Sky; What are you doing!? Erik laughed a little bit at Addison as she looked at him water dripping down to the floor. Erik White; I was making sure that you were still alive, you've been in there forever. Addison Sky; I fell asleep. Erik looked surprised. Erik White; How the hell did you manage that? Addison laughed a little bit shrugging her shoulders. Addison Sky; I have no clue, but I had another weird dream about Exodus. Erik White; What movie was it this time? Erik snickered a little bit poking fun at Addison. She shook her head. Addison Sky; No it was a memory almost except Ambika was my 5th grade teacher it was so queer. She asked my what my goal was and of course I said to prove myself by winning the Bloodsport championship and be a two-time champion. It's the most important thing to me right now and it won't stay off my mind. Everything I do leads me back to thinking about the match and it's tomorrow. I need to get myself together or this is going to turn out horribly. Addison shook her head rubbing her eyes. Erik made his way towards her lifting up her head and planting a kiss on her lips she smiled. Erik White; Babe, listen you have nothing to prove, and you have yourself together when you're that focused on the match that you can't stop dreaming about it that's when you know you have it together. You're turning good into bad just sit back and enjoy the ride. Addison smiled nodding her head. He kissed her again. Addison Sky; Always keeping me grounded, that's what I keep you around for. Almost forgot. Addison laughed a little as she winked at Erik. He laughed sarcastically with her. Addison Sky; Get out of here I need to get dressed. Addison shooed Erik. He shut the bathroom door and Addison turned her attention to the mirror in front of her. The mist that had covered the mirror a few seconds ago was gone and she stared at herself. When Addison stared into her eyes she saw something much different than others did. Other people saw a pretty girl with big dreams and that was it. When Addison looked into her own eyes she saw her heart. She saw the drive that made her who she was and the passion that completed her. It wasn't about being different or being able to say a poem for the crowd it was about her character, the responsibility, the respectfulness. Addison was a person of character and a person willing and able to better herself everyweek. She was a champion in the making almost, maybe she gained the championship too fast in her first run but she was much more ready this time for the task at hand. Addison would go in confident like she always would but the difference this time would be that she would go in with no fear of mistakes. Cause everyone makes mistakes and although in the wrestling business they call for very few she was allowed a least one. Addison wasn't scared of what was going to happen and that was the difference between this match and the match at Night of Champions. Maybe people were sick of seeing Addison verse Ambika but this match was going to be better than the rest. Hopefully for both competitors. Addison drew in a breath through her nose and out through her mouth. She continued looking on at herself in the mirror. She wasn't sure what the next day would bring but she knew it would be good in the long run. She had a good feud with Ambika and each time they met was better than the next. Addison wasn't looking for revenge she was simply looking for an second chance. Ambika had gotten hers and now it was Addison's turn, and nothing was going to slip through her fingers this time. |
