Out of Character Comment; Well good to see someone showed up. Heather Mackenzie was a girl of little cares. She didn't care about much because more things just weren't worth her time. She was considered arrogant for her thoughts on life, because of the fact that she didn't seem to care all that much about anyone but herself and the job she was doing. When Heather did a job, whether that be in the ring or in the office she was going to do it right and she was going to get it done faster, and better. She wasn't going to back down from a fight simply because she was going up against a guy. This was a common misconception for women in wrestling, that they were supposed to back down and shriek at the site of having to go up against a guy. This was a completely different case for Heather Mackenzie, and for most of the modern divas that now roamed the professional wrestling. Heather was a modern diva she was a diva in every sense of the word. Most women considered it to be demeaning to be a bad word, but Heather didn't. A diva was an accomplished person, and one that knew she was an accomplished person. A diva didn't mean a slut, it didn't mean someone that couldn't wrestle. Sure it meant that to some girls, but that's because that's what they made it. Heather made it much more than that she made it empowering and she made it better than ever. Which was something she did much better than anyone else. There wasn't a lot that people did better than Heather in fact. It was something she prided herself on and something that no one could take away from her. She might not be the most original person in the bunch but she made herself stick out whether anyone liked that fact or not. Heather would go out for her debut match and she would show the IWE and show Matt Matlock that she was better than he could ever hope to be. Then he would understand the true meaning of Beauty in the Beatdown. Heather pushed a grape into her mouth as she sat at the kitchen table in the hotel room looking at the papers for the nights agenda. She let out a yawn, she had just woken up, the fact that it was 2:30 p.m. didn't mean a thing to her. Heather could hear the key pushing it's way into the lock and the hotel door opened up. Nicholas Slater made his way into the room, he had obviously been at the gym. He looked over to Heather setting his bag down and removing his sunglasses, which Heather loved. Nicholas Slater; Finally up? Heather simply nodded her head popping another grape into her mouth. Nicholas set his sunglasses down and walked over towards Heather grabbing a grape from her bowl and putting it in his mouth. He kissed her head quickly and sat across from her. Out of no where he let a little laugh trickle out. Heather looked up to him a little confused. Heather Mackenzie; What's so funny? Nicholas continued to laugh a little bit, he knew something Heather didn't. Nicholas Slater; Oh nothing, I just thought you should know that Matt Matlock is actually here in Chicago. Heather's eyes widened and she burst into laughter. She couldn't help herself. Nicholas added to it a little. Finally they calmed down a little bit trying to contain themselves. Heather Mackenzie; Wait..so where did you hear this? Nicholas Slater; He actually cut a promo the other day. He just talked about some Kelly bitch, there really wasn't much relevant to the match. Well other than the fact that he kept calling Ciara a dyke and continued to reference to you as a pornstar. Heather still hadn't stopped giggling. Heather Mackenzie; Wow, that is all too original on his part. The original thing is that he is actually going to be there. I suppose he picks and chooses when he wants to show up though. I guess I peaked his interest. Heather smiled seductively towards Nicholas and he sends her a grin back. Nicholas Slater; Well you do that well don't you? Heather nodded almost innocently. Heather Mackenzie; Well now all I have to worry about is Matt making it down the ramp for me to actually fight him. I mean it's confirmed that he'll show now, the next step is actually getting him in the ring. It's not going to make me look any better than I already do though, beating a jobber like him. Oh wait, he's just held so many titles huh? He probably thinks he's better than me. Heather laughed a little more. Nicholas Slater; Wait..you haven't even heard the best part. He mentioned that you would get offended by everything he said. My question to that is when did he even say anything that was offensive, or not already out in the open. It was almost like he thought you would get offended because he called you a pornstar, what a dumbass. Heather Mackenzie; Really you'll have that with him I suppose. He really thinks highly of himself for some unknown reasons, it isn't like he's actually made it in any big companies. I mean I haven't either but at least people recognize me as a good athlete you can't say that about him in too many places. I mean at least I have respect. Whether or not he would admit that. I mean it wouldn't surprise me if he played that card on me, then again I don't think guys care as much as girls do huh? Nicholas just shook his head grabbing another grape from Heather's bowl. Nicholas Slater; Yeah he said some shit about straddling him and blowing him same old bullshit. Nicholas shrugged it off as Heather laughed a little bit more. Heather Mackenzie; What, does he think I'm a push over. He expected that to offend me? Wow he obviously doesn't realize the shit I put up with for my career choices. I'm sick of the pathetic cunts that make there way into the ring against me thinking they stand a chance. There is no way in hell this guy is going to even begin to do well. The only thing he has going for him is the fact that he could distract people with that hideous face of his. Heather shivered a little bit just thinking about it. Nicholas Slater; That's true, but either way you're better than him. What you lack in power against him you make up for in everything else. Heather Mackenzie; I know this. You're the best baby. I'm glad you watched out for me. Heather got to her feet and walked over to where Nicholas was sitting. She sat down on his lap wrapping her arms around him and giving him a kiss. The scene fades. |
